| so i've been doing some paintings of other people's special places. i interview them, i don't get any photos from them, just textures, colors, smells, noises, and why it's special and then i make something up. i like it, then i'm showing them all together, then giving them to the people. yep.
i need sculpture projects. i'm way behind. i need to look at some cool sculptural artists and maybe i'll get inspired.

| so i'm sitting here in the computer lab working on this poster for work, and basically, i've been neglecting kaitlyn all da (this after i lost her thesis last night). she's really starting to hate me. i can tell. maybe i'll buy her a unicorn and some rainbow puffs, and if i'm lucky, she'll forgive me for being such a jerk. but i'll probably have to eat a lot of cheese to win her back. i hear she's looking to date this other fella who smells like swiss cheese, and seeing as how she loves cheese (only slightly moreso than i), i figure i've got my work cut out for me.
oh boy.
yep.
i wonder when i'm going to finish this project and start distracting kaitlyn. when? in an minute or two? maybe so. maybe so.

sooooo. my BFA show opens this friday. it's actually the first of two shows (the second opens a week after this one at the downtown gallery). they are going to be different. this one having a balance of photos/cameras i've been working on and a relational element where viewers can participate in taking pinhole photographs. the show downtown is going to display photos taken by other people from the first show, and more cameras for people to borrow (more than the first show that is). yep. so i'm down in the basement taking a break. i've got more to do, but it's alright. there's actually like a fourth of my sculpture class down here as well because they've got a metal sculpture due tomorrow morning.

| so what's been going on lately, let's see here.
i've been pretty obsessed with chess. i lose against my housemates
though. aaron and lance read chess strategy books now they're not in
school anymore. nate's just naturally good. everytime i think i'm
getting better, they make some move that i didn't even see and then
it's all over. there's a chess tournament being put on by matt dehoog,
i'll probably get murdered, but that's alright, maybe i'm just psyching
myself out and i really won't be that bad compared to the other people.
haven't gone shoveling in a long time now. so that's good. i got paid
yesterday. that's good too. i've got some tea here with me right now.
it's apple cinammon...yeah. you thought you were going to get a real
post out of me. i guess not.
